Duties

Assist in the administration of vital signs and perform medical imaging as needed.
Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay current with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with medical documentation standards.
Skills
Proficient in using Softdent software for patient management and record keeping.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and medical coding relevant to dental practices.
Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation review and patient assessment processes.
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
