Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting the overall efficiency of our dental team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly environment with a focus on patient education and comfort. Candidates with experience in dental office operations, pediatric dentistry, or orthodontics are encouraged to apply. Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve our diverse patient community.
Duties
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
Assist with patient assessments and medical history updates using dental software such as Tracker
Support the dental team during procedures, including chairside assistance when necessary
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment
Manage patient appointments, follow-up care, and treatment scheduling efficiently
Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns and explain procedures in a compassionate manner
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatments, and progress
Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
Proficiency with dental software such as Tracker is highly desirable
Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a bilingual capacity is advantageous
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and demonstrate professionalism at all times
Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining current licensure standards
Pay: $55.00-$58.00 per hour
