Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health education, and creating a welcoming experience for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling, polishing, and preventive hygiene treatments
Take and process dental radiographs as required
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventative care
Document clinical findings and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
Assist dentists during examinations and treatment planning
Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards in accordance with OSHA and public health guidelines
Provide compassionate and professional care to patients of all ages
Support pediatric patients using gentle and age-appropriate communication techniques
Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment recommendations and oral health concerns
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies
Qualifications
Valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Previous experience in a dental office environment preferred
Experience with Abeldent software is considered an asset
Knowledge of orthodontic and pediatric dental care is beneficial
Bilingual communication skills (English and other languages) are an asset
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control procedures
Dental assisting experience is considered an asset but is not required
