Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, patient education, and preventive treatments. Your expertise will help promote optimal oral health and foster positive patient experiences. The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct patient assessments by taking medical histories, and dental radiographs using medical imaging equipment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to improve their overall health
Review and update medical records accurately in Eaglesoft
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and provide chairside assistance with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge
Document treatment details precisely
Experience
Experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general or pediatric dentistry setting
Proficiency with Eaglesoft is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques
Experience with imaging procedures such as X-rays
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and documentation review processes is essential
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse age groups including pediatrics
