Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. Airflow GBT experience preferred but training can be provided.
Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to promote optimal oral health.
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Zoom teeth whitening
Maintain accurate patient records using AkituOne software
Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally.
Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly environment that eases anxiety during visits.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations of the dental practice.
Experience
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ontario
1+ years experience preferred
Proficiency with AkituOne or similar dental software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous.
