Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting our team in delivering a positive patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment with a focus on comprehensive dental health services.

Duties
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take digital x-rays as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentally
Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
Support the dental team with sterilization and infection control protocols
Provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Assist with administrative tasks related to patient check-in and check-out processes
Must be available to work on Mondays and Wednesdays. Other days availability to discuss.

Skills
Proficiency with Dentally or similar dental management software
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations are a plus
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills to ensure a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children and special needs patients
Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work well within a team setting
Pay: $48.00-$52.00 per hour
