About the Role:
Wrightsville Dental in Wilmington, NC is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a welcoming, professional environment where your expertise truly makes a difference.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for patients
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments including periodontal charting and screenings
Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with practice protocols
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
Document accurate patient records and treatment notes in the practice management system
Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to develop individualized patient treatment plans
Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride or sealant treatments as needed
Requirements:
Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of North Carolina
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care
