Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.

Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.

Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort.

Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols.

Review medical records and documentation for accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Maintain a sterile environment through aseptic techniques and proper infection control procedures.

Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix for accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.

Support pediatric dentistry cases by applying specialized knowledge of pediatric dental terminology and procedures.

Ensure patient safety by monitoring vital signs during procedures and providing appropriate patient care throughout visits.

Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification.

Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings, preferably with pediatric dentistry exposure.

Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding practices.

Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and anatomy relevant to dental practice.

Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.

Ability to work efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques alongside the dental team.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
