Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled & friendly Dental Hygienist to join our dental team on Mondays from 8-5:30pm. (This has the possibility of adding an additional day, making it 2 days/wk instead of 1 day/wk.) Our office prides itself on keeping patients relaxed and comfortable while providing quality care, and we're looking for someone who will exemplify this.
Duties
Conduct thorough, gentle dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records management and documentation review.
Monitor and record vital signs as part of patient care protocols.
Take digital x-rays, intraorals, and digital scanning as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment infection control protocols.
Review medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and care quality.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft dental software is highly desirable.
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is beneficial.
Strong skills in patient care, assessment, and documentation review are required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
