Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene and assisting the dentist in various procedures.
Hours
Mondays 9am - 6pm (paid one hour lunch)
Wednesdays 1pm - 7pm
Fridays 9am -3pm (paid 30 min lunch).
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize aseptic techniques during all procedures to minimize the risk of infection.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages are necessary for success in this role.
