Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take dental radiographs accurately and efficiently
Assess patients’ oral health status and document findings appropriately in patient records
Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing techniques, and overall oral hygiene practices
Provide preventive care advice tailored to individual patient needs
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with professionalism and precision
Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized
Foster a positive patient experience by communicating clearly, empathetically, and professionally
Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional licensing boards
Proven experience in performing dental cleanings and radiography procedures
Strong knowledge of oral health best practices, infection control standards, and dental software systems
Excellent communication skills to educate and motivate patients effectively
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records accurately
A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth
