Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment to ensure optimal oral health for our patients.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations,
Assess patient vital signs and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.
Utilize dental software for documentation review and patient management.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within the dental clinic environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
Stay updated on relevant advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to oral health, as well as general dentistry practices.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
