Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health education. This role requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We are an updated state of the art office. Family practice that has been in town for over 30 years. We are FFS and take some PPO plans.
We are looking for someone who can work either FULL TIME OR PART TIME- hours as follows:
Mondays 9-7- Westfield
Wednesdays 9-7 Westfield
Fridays 8-2- Alternating offices
Saturdays 9-2 Westfield 2/month
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Review documentation and medical histories to identify potential issues or concerns.
- Utilize Open Dental and Dexis software for patient management and record-keeping.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
We have a full time position available in our fast paced family practice. We work as a team and our assistants help both hygiene and doctor schedule.
Pay: $56.00 - $60.00 per hour
