Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients in a comfortable and relaxing manner. This role requires a good understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting oral health.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health including probing.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Skilled with radiographs and charting.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care.
Educate patient on dental treatments and adjunct periodontal therapies.
Maintain an organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in British Columbia
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate treatments effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to educate patients such that they accept their dental treatments.
Promote and facilitate the dentists treatment protocol.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Have a good understanding of perdiodontal procedures.
