Registered Dental Hygienist

```Duties```

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans as well present treatment plans

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software systems such as Open Dental

- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
```Qualifications```

- Valid dental hygiene license in Florida

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

- Proficiency in using dental software systems for medical documentation, record keeping, and patient assessment

- Knowledge of dental coding and insurance billing procedures

- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health care

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals

- Familiarity with infection control protocols and adherence to safety guidelines
