Travel Dental Hygienist – 13-Week Contract
Location: Columbia, SC
Pay: $50.00–$56.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | 39 Hours/Week

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Pay: $50.00–$56.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Hours: 39 hours per week
No weekends
Major holidays off
Responsibilities
Perform routine dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
Remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth
Polish teeth and apply topical fluoride
Take and process dental X-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Provide nutrition and dietary counseling
Review medical and dental histories
Record vital signs, including blood pressure
Chart dental conditions and document patient care
Schedule and confirm appointments
Utilize Epic Wisdom for charting and documentation
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene
Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist License (required)
Previous dental hygiene experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Experience with Epic EMR/Epic Wisdom preferred
Excellent communication and patient education skills

Requirements
Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license
