Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in medical imaging, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay is hourly plus monthly bonus system.
Duties
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as needed.
Take and review digital dental radiographs (X-rays).
Assess patients’ oral health and document findings.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
Follow all OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols.
Provide compassionate, high-quality care while creating a comfortable patient experience.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver excellent patient care.
Manage patient records using Eaglesoft.
Qualifications
Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in North Carolina.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of infection control, OSHA, and CDC guidelines.
Experience with digital X-rays and electronic dental records is preferred.
New graduates are welcome to apply.
Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of dentistry through continuing education courses.
Experience with Eaglesoft software is a plus but not mandatory.
