We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the documentation of medical histories and update patient records using Dentrix software.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides as directed by the dentist.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide support in orthodontic and pediatric procedures when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience or knowledge in orthodontics and pediatrics is preferred.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Familiarity with dental assisting duties is an advantage.
Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is beneficial.
