About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as our practice continues to expand.
This is a great opportunity for a hygienist who enjoys connecting with patients, providing excellent preventive care, and wants to grow with a supportive, team-oriented practice. We’re looking for someone interested in building a long-term relationship with our office—not simply filling a temporary schedule.
Responsibilities
Provide thorough and compassionate preventive dental hygiene care, including cleanings, periodontal care, polishing, fluoride, and other preventive treatments.
Perform patient assessments and review medical and dental histories.
Take dental X-rays as permitted by Washington State licensure and office protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and personalized preventive care.
Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and make them feel comfortable and cared for.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Open Dental.
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection prevention and control standards.
Communicate effectively with dentists and the rest of the dental team to provide coordinated patient care.
Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented office environment.
What We’re Looking For
Active Washington State Dental Hygienist license.
Current certification/authorization to take dental X-rays in Washington State.
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Friendly, positive energy and a genuine passion for patient care.
Someone who works well with a team and is willing to learn and grow with our practice.
Comfortable with dental technology and electronic records; experience with Open Dental is a plus.
Previous general dentistry experience preferred.
