Registered Dental Hygienist – 2–4 Days per Week Based on Your Availability
We are a busy, well-established dental practice in Placerville, CA, seeking a friendly, skilled, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team 2–4 days per week, from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm. Tuesday and Thursday are preferred, but we are flexible and happy to discuss a schedule that works well for both the hygienist and our practice. Job Summary
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, a gentle chairside manner, and a proactive approach to patient education and wellness.

What You’ll Do
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs
Provide preventive and therapeutic hygiene services, including dental cleanings, scaling, polishing, and SRPs
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular care
Administer local anesthesia as needed
Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant patient records
Collaborate with the doctor and team to co-diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide supportive care for pediatric patients in a calm, reassuring manner
Utilize Open Dental, digital X-rays (Sidexis), ultrasonics, lasers, and ozone therapy
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene and holistic dental practices
What We’re Looking For
A licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing in California
Proficient in aseptic techniques and infection control
Strong assessment and communication skills
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and documentation standards
Comfort with or willingness to learn laser therapy, ozone therapy, and holistic modalities
