Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs measurement and medical history review, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health.

Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.

Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.

Review and document patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Monitor patient responses during procedures, providing chairside assistance and ensuring optimal patient care throughout visits.

Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials.

Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry preferred.

Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and medical coding.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.

Ability to perform patient assessment skills including vital signs measurement and medical history review accurately.

Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with team members seamlessly.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
