Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment plans.
Assist in chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical coding in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination within the dental environment. Header
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials.
Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement, medical imaging, and documentation review accurately.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
Pay: $53.00 - $57.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 per week
