Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while promoting oral health and hygiene. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and comfort, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans
Utilize Tracker software for patient management and record keeping
Collaborate with orthodontic procedures when necessary
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
Uphold excellent customer service standards to enhance patient satisfaction
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential
Experience with Tracker software is highly desirable
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse patient populations is valued
Background in dental assisting is a plus, particularly in orthodontics or pediatrics
