Job Description

Registered Dental Hygienist for School-Based Program (Part-time 2-4 days/week, Iowa County, Wi)
Join Our Mission: School-Based Dental Hygienist – Bridging Brighter Smiles
Are you passionate about preventive care, community health, and making a real difference in the lives of children? Bridging Brighter Smiles is seeking dedicated dental professionals to join our growing school-based dental program—a unique opportunity to combine meaningful public health work with a family-friendly schedule.

About Us:
Bridging Brighter Smiles is a nonprofit organization committed to increasing access to dental care for underserved children across Wisconsin. Our team provides preventive services—such as cleanings, dental x rays, sealants, SDF, fluoride varnish, and oral health education—directly in schools, eliminating barriers like transportation, cost, and time off work for families.

Position Highlights:
School-Year Schedule:, Monday through Friday, and offer flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we’ll do our best to accommodate your availability—no evenings, weekends, holidays, or summer commitments required!

Rewarding Work: Help bridge the gap in care for children who may not otherwise see a dentist. Your work will have a lasting impact on the oral and overall health of the students we serve.

Autonomy & Support: Work independently within school settings while being fully supported by a dedicated administrative and clinical team.

Travel Locally: Serve schools within a designated region—minimal to no overnight travel required.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
A current dental hygiene or dental license in the state of Wisconsin
A passion for public health and preventive care
Over 2,000 verified hours of direct clinical supervision
Excellent communication skills and a positive, compassionate approach to working with children
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Whether you’re an experienced clinician looking for more work-life balance, a parent ready to re-enter the workforce, or a public health advocate seeking to make a difference—Bridging Brighter Smiles offers a fulfilling and flexible career path.
