Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
Provide support with orthodontic treatments, including adjustments and patient education on appliance care.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and ensure smooth clinic operations.
Foster a welcoming environment by delivering excellent customer service and addressing patient concerns promptly.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures.
Bilingual abilities are preferred to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
Prior experience in dental assisting or working within a busy dental office setting is advantageous.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient education and customer service excellence.
