Job Overview
We are an Established Private Practice located in Seattle for over 20 years. We are looking for a family, friendly, detail orientated, and independent available to work 4 days a week Registered Hygienist to join our team! We are fully digital, software is Eaglesoft. Office hours M-Thurs 7am-4pm with paid parking. Email your resume along with references.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, to promote optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and dental charts to inform treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical history in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing medical records securely.
Support infection control measures through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for pediatric dentistry patients when applicable.
Stay current with dental terminology, medical coding practices, and advancements in dental technology to provide high-quality care.
Qualifications
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings is preferred.
Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and management.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
