Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on Saturdays only from 8:00AM to 2:00PM. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, educating patients on oral health, and working collaboratively with our dental team. This is a great opportunity for a hygienist looking for a consistent Saturday schedule in a welcoming, patient focused private practice.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately to assist in diagnosis.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies.
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with health regulations.
Ensure sterilization protocols are followed diligently to uphold a safe clinical environment.
Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care plans to promote ongoing oral health.
Experience
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional requirements.
Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, radiography, and patient education.
Strong knowledge of oral health best practices, infection control standards, and dental software systems.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and connect with diverse patient populations.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
