Job Summary
We are not corporate! Join our close-knit healthcare team as a Registered Dental Hygienist, where you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and delivering exceptional patient care. By joining our family practice, you will utilize your expertise to perform professional dental cleanings, provide oral health education to patients, and assist the dental team in creating a comfortable and positive environment for everyone.

Duties
Conduct prophylaxis, gingivitis cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques, dietary advice, and preventive care strategies.
Assist dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and professionalism.
Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in Dentrix electronic health record.
Ensure sterilization protocols are followed diligently to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Schedule follow-up appointments and provide patients with personalized oral health recommendations.
Skills
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, tools, and infection control standards
Excellent communication skills to educate and motivate patients
Ability to work collaboratively within a dental team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing patient records and appointments
Passion for promoting oral health and improving patient outcomes
Basic proficiency in dental software systems is preferred
Hours
Flexible scheduling is available as we are open to hiring part time or full time! We are open Monday to Thursday 7 am to 4 pm.
