Job Description

Join Our Team!

We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and reliable Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice. Whether you're an experienced hygienist or a recent graduate eager to begin your career, we welcome candidates who are passionate about patient care, committed to continuous learning, and enjoy working collaboratively in a supportive team environment.

This position offers a minimum of 3 working days per week, with the opportunity for additional days as our practice continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing.

Take dental radiographs and perform digital intraoral scans.

Conduct oral cancer screenings and document clinical findings.

Administer local anesthesia in accordance with provincial regulations and scope of practice.

Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and individualized home-care recommendations.

Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and treatment documentation.

Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Support a welcoming, positive, and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications
Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professions.

Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of dental terminology and preventive oral health practices.

Familiarity with orthodontic appliances and procedures is an asset.

Previous experience in a dental office or dental assisting role is considered an advantage.

Experience using Cleardent or similar dental practice management software is preferred.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
