We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings and educating patients on oral health. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care while working collaboratively with the dentist and team. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs as needed.
Provide professional dental cleanings, periodontal charting, scaling, and preventive treatments.
Take high-quality dental radiographs (current Radiology license required).
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care techniques.
Assist in developing individualized treatment plans and reinforce doctor recommendations.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
Follow all OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Work collaboratively with the dentist and team members to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
Stay current with continuing education and advancements in dental hygiene and patient care.
Qualifications
Current Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
Current Radiology certification/license required.
Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and commitment to exceptional patient care.
Previous dental hygiene experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
