Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are a modern clinic in Markham; looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist the dentist during examinations
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Cleardent
Manage patient appointments efficiently and ensure a smooth flow of clinical operations
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols according to OSHA standards
Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive, welcoming environment for all patients
Skills
Experience in dental assisting or working within a dental office setting is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety

- HARP certificate
