Job Description
We are looking for a Full Time/Part Time Licensed Dental Hygienist who is passionate about oral healthcare delivery and patient education. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to provide a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. SIGN ON BONUS included.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, using both manual and ultrasonic instruments.
Conduct initial patient screenings, including oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.
Take and develop high-quality diagnostic images, including digital radiographs as indicated.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Apply sealants and fluoride treatments.
Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Proficiency with modern dental technology, including ultrasonic scalers, and intraoral scanners along with practice management software (OpenDental) is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Pay: $40-$52 per hour, based on experience and skill level. New graduates are welcome to apply
