Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health, and support the overall operations of our dental team. Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Opendental software
Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments and ensure sterilization protocols are followed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns in a friendly manner
Support the dental team with sterilization, administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and billing when necessary
Skills
Proficiency with Opendental or other dental practice management software
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry procedures
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient population.

Experience in dental assisting or related roles within a dental office setting is preferred
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient comfort and education
Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
