Job Overview

Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays) ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.

Assist in applying fluoride treatments and sealants to protect against cavities.

Review medical histories and update patient records accurately using dental software such as Cleardent.

Provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and special needs patients, including bilingual communication when applicable.

Maintain a clean and organized operatories environment adhering to infection control protocols.

Collaborate with dentists and office staff to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes.

Experience
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.

Prior experience working in a busy dental office setting is highly preferred.

Proficiency with dental software systems such as Cleardent or similar platforms.

Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages.

Pay: $62.00-$65.00 per hour
