Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, periodontal health, and the connection between oral health and overall systemic wellness.

Deliver adjunctive services including local anesthesia, fluoride, sealants, and other preventive or therapeutic treatments within scope of practice.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the EPIC system in full compliance with HIPAA regulations. (The Office will train on the system)
Follow infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Actively participate in team meetings to align on patient care goals and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Stay current on advancements in dental hygiene through continuing education and ongoing professional development, the office provides CE for providers.

Skills
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.

Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement and patient assessment confidently.

Excellent understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and medical records management.

Familiarity with EPIC system, documentation review processes, and infection prevention techniques to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
