Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. This role requires a professional with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care. Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abeldent
Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
Support the dental team in administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and billing when necessary
Skills
Proficiency in Abeldent or similar dental practice management software
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
Experience with dental assisting techniques is a plus
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred
Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
