Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.

Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.

Take and interpret medical imaging (X-rays) while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.

Review and update medical records accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft .

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality during documentation review and data entry.

Monitor vital signs before procedures to ensure patient safety during treatment sessions.

Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control standards and OSHA guidelines.

Hygienist treats one patient per hour, and 90 minute new patient appointments.

Skills
Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft for scheduling.

Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry, including X-ray interpretation.

Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively.

Familiarity with infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental setting.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure privacy compliance.

Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour
