Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our welcoming dental practice on a part-time basis. We are looking for an experienced clinician who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and building lasting relationships with patients.
Schedule
Alternate Tuesdays: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
All Tuesdays : (July & August 2026) 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Qualifications
Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory college.
Minimum 2–5 years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative dental team.
Knowledge of current infection prevention and control protocols.
Experience with dental practice management software is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments.
Provide scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and oral health education.
Take and interpret dental radiographs as required.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Educate patients on preventive oral health care and home hygiene techniques.
Collaborate with the dentist and team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.
