We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment. Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate aseptic techniques.
Take clinically acceptable dental X-rays.
Maintain accurate dental records for each patient, documenting treatment plans and progress.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Assist in various dental procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow within the dental office.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure high-quality patient care.
Uphold cleanliness and organization within the dental office.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Experience in a dental clinic or office setting.
Proficiency in dental imaging techniques is advantageous.
Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on providing compassionate care.
Familiarity with dental assisting tasks is a plus.
Ability to maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety protocols.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
