Job Description

Job Summary
Our dental office, limited to periodontal care, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team due to the retirement of a long-term team member. This is not just another hygiene position, it is an opportunity to be part of a practice who treats its team members like family, prides itself on excellent patient care and always emphasizes quality over volume. We are seeking someone interested in a long-term position, not just another job.

To be considered we request you have:
A valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification.

The ability to perform thorough scaling and root planing initial therapy on patients with all stages of periodontal disease.

The ability to perform periodontal maintenance procedures on periodontal patients with a variety of residual pocket depths.

Clinical experience and proficiency in administering local anesthetic and nitrous oxide.

A willingness to educate patients regarding homecare to improve oral hygiene
Experience:
Prior experience as a dental hygienist is preferred but not necessary. *Upcoming & recent RDH program graduates are encouraged to apply. We are willing to work with the right individual to provide the needed training to make them a successful dental hygienist in our periodontal practice.
