Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in OpenDental software.
Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario.
Experience with OpenDental software is preferred.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dental assisting is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient base.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
