Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8 am- 3 pm, and Fridays 8 am- 2 pm. New Grads welcome!
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. You will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings for patients, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of medical histories.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists in the diagnosis and treatment planning for various dental conditions.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments using Eaglesoft software.
Requirements
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Idaho.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures.
Knowledge of infection control standards and procedures.
Familiarity with dental office operations and terminology.
Experience in patient care, with a focus on building rapport with diverse patient populations.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
