Registered Dental Hygienist

We are looking to hire a Missouri Registered Dental Hygienist who will mesh well with our staff, treat patients with kindness, and promote good oral health practices. We need someone who truly wants to be part of the team, is laid back, and looking for a place to be "home". We have the best support staff and they are always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

The position can be part-time or full-time. Monday-Thursday 08:00-5:00 and possibly some Fridays from 08:00-noon. Sign-on bonus available for full-time.

We strongly believe Hygienists are the front-line of helping patients achieve their best oral health. We are looking for a hygienist to complete our phenomenal team and join us in brightening smiles.

Along with routine hygiene preventative care to patients, you will help dentists decide treatments for teeth or gum diseases and handle dental emergencies. Responsibilities
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Take necessary radiographs
Patient screening procedures: assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screenings, dental & periodontal charting. Identify conditions such as gingivitis and periodontitis.

Remove calculus and plaque from from all surfaces of teeth
Apply preventative materials to teeth (sealants and fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper hygiene care
Assist front office with various duties and other team members as needed
Assist the doctor as requested with treatment
Help with maintaining the sterilization area
Meet continuing education requirements
EagleSoft Software
Skills
Graduate from accredited school of Dental Hygiene
Current Missouri State Certification in Dental Hygiene
Qualified in administration of local anesthesia
CPR certified and meet all CE requirements
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Excellent patient interaction skills
Knowledge of practice management and imaging computer programs
Detailed oriented
Friendly and kind
Pay based on experience.

Bonus based on contract.
