Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health
Take and develop digital X-rays, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary advice
Assist in developing personalized treatment plans alongside the dental team
Manage patient records efficiently using paradigm software
Support orthodontic procedures by providing specialized hygiene care for patients with braces or aligners
Communicate effectively with patients in multiple languages if bilingual skills are available, ensuring clarity and comfort during visits
Experience
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice
Prior experience working in a dental office setting, preferably with pediatric and general adult patients
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse patient populations
Experience in dental assisting or related roles is a plus to support team collaboration
Ability to understand medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 10.0 per week
