Job Description
At Vista Family Dentistry, we strive to provide high quality general dental care to the entire family in a comfortable and friendly environment, and are looking for a motivated and personable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private dental practice. The right candidate will be a team player, and passionate about working with patients of all ages.
This position can be flexible for 1-2 days (9-18 hours) per week (choice of Monday/Tuesday/Thursday), with the potential for additional hours in the future.
One-year of clinical experience is preferred, but we are most interested in finding someone whose personality, values, and approach to patient care align with our team.
Daily Responsibilities:
Providing preventive and periodontal care for adult and pediatric patients
Creating a comfortable, positive, and personalized patient experience
Taking diagnostic digital radiographs and maintaining accurate clinical notes
Educating patients and helping them understand their oral health
Using proper infection control protocols to maintain and turn over your operatory
Collaborating with the doctor and clinical team to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene (RDH)
Current Wisconsin state license as a Dental Hygienist
Excellent communication and patient care skills
