Job Description
Overview
The Cheri Harris Dental Center is part of a non-profit organization of the Assistance League of Newport Mesa. We are looking for a part time Dental Hygienist to work every Wednesdays from 8:00-4:00. Our office provides general and preventative dentistry plus orthodontic and endodontic programs for our patients in a family friendly environment. Bilingual in english and spanish preferred.
Duties
Sterilize dental instruments
Conduct initial mouth screening and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Educate patients on proper brushing and flossing
Take digital x-rays
Maintain documentation on charts and recall cards on each patient
Skills
Bilingual in english and spanish preferred
Knowledge in health and safety regulations
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills
Calif license to practice in California
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
