Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and promoting optimal oral health. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values patient comfort and clinical excellence. The position requires a licensed hygienist with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient education. NO WEEKENDS
Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software.
Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment areas in accordance with infection control protocols.
Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Stay current with dental terminology, procedures, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental management software.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is desirable.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
Experience in dental assisting or customer service is beneficial but not required.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient care standards.
Pay: $38.32-$50.00 per hour
