Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall efficiency of the dental office. Your expertise will help ensure our patients receive exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment.

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and calculus buildup.

Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history, and dental examinations to evaluate oral health status.

Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to individual needs.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and progress within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.

Support infection control standards through aseptic technique and sterilization procedures to uphold safety in the dental environment.

Skills
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.

Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups.

Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and security of patient information.

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
