Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Conduct vital signs checks and maintain accurate patient records.
Be able to take good quality intra-oral and pano radiographs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patients.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry settings.
Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Must be able to document patient visit in a thorough manner.
Experience
Previous experience in a general dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with infection control standards and practices is essential.
Knowledge of wellness scans with itero is a plus.
