Job Description
Overview:
Precision Dental Care is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. With an upcoming office renovation and continued practice growth, we are expanding our hygiene department now to prepare for the future.
Schedule
This is initially a part-time position with the potential to transition into full-time as the practice continues to grow
Availability needed Monday through Friday
Some scheduled days may be worked under general supervision, based on the needs and clinical schedule of the practice
We are willing to offer some scheduling flexibility, provided the schedule meets the needs of the practice and our patients

Responsibilities
Provide thorough, patient-centered preventive and periodontal care
Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, radiographs, and periodontal charting
Educate patients on oral health and recommended treatment
Communicate clinical findings clearly with patients, doctors, and team members
Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation
Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visits
Follow all infection-control, safety, and practice protocols
Qualifications
Current Missouri Dental Hygiene license
Current CPR certification
Previous dental hygiene experience is preferred but not required
New graduates with strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach are encouraged to apply
Experience with periodontal therapy, digital radiographs, patient education, and Dentrix is a plus
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to work independently under general supervision when scheduled
The ideal candidate will be dependable, comfortable working collaboratively and independently, and able to provide care under general supervision when scheduled
